Seraphine
Description
She burns, and it is glorious
The Seraphine does not flicker. She blazes. Named for the highest order of angels in the celestial hierarchy — beings so consumed by divine fire that even other angels could not look directly at them — she is the sculptural figurine that makes the air around her feel different. Warmer. More alive. More dangerous.
Recoprocity Well Overdue
In Hebrew scripture, the Seraphim stand closest to the divine — six-winged, radiant, burning with a love so intense it becomes light itself. They do not guard. They do not serve. They adore. And in that adoration, they become the most powerful beings in existence. The word seraph means to burn. To be consumed by something greater than yourself and to be made more beautiful by it.
Then there is Séraphine Louis — the French visionary artist who scrubbed floors by day and painted through the night, driven by visions she said came from her guardian angel. She mixed her pigments with blood, candle wax, and stolen church oil. Her work was discovered by chance, celebrated by the world, and has never been fully explained. She did not paint from ambition. She painted because she had no choice.
The Seraphine carries that same quality — the sense that something this beautiful could not have been made by calculation alone. She arrived from somewhere deeper. And she will make your space feel like it did too.
What makes her burn brighter
- Named for the Seraphim — the highest angelic order in Hebrew scripture, beings of pure divine fire
- Inspired by Séraphine Louis — the visionary French artist who painted in a trance, driven by something beyond herself
- Hand-finished with the deliberate care given to objects meant to be coveted
- Limited edition — because fire this precise cannot be contained twice
The Seraphine is for those who are not afraid of beautiful things that burn.
