Description
Shotor Morg stands where the sky meets open ground, carrying the paradox of wings that never lift and a life that still moves magnificently.
Where the Earth Becomes Enough
The ostrich cannot fly. Yet its legs carry it, and it lays the largest eggs of any living bird. What seems a contradiction is another arrangement of possibility: a beginning held close to the earth, a horizon reached without leaving it.
We are less generous with our differences. We inherit pictures of success and measure ourselves against their outlines. Someone rises; we mistake our unfolding for failure. A dream changes shape, and we mourn as though the future has closed.
But perhaps the longing was never for height. Perhaps it was for movement, for room, for the feeling of meeting our strength. The ostrich offers no argument to the sky. It runs, and distance opens beneath its feet. There is dignity in a gift that refuses another creature's definition.
Shotor Morg holds this ambition beside the work of growing. A seed does not resemble the life it carries. Neither must we resemble yesterday's dream to remain full of tomorrow. In a corner, this planter makes space for beginnings whose scale cannot be seen.
