Description

Ohreus Gida follows the falcon above the river, where the earth remains visible but no longer decides the limits of the journey.

The Sky Beyond the Crown

In ancient Egypt, Horus was worshipped as a sky god, depicted as a falcon. Kings associated themselves with him; his image joined sovereignty with divine protection. Yet a wing suggests another kind of dominion: the capacity to move without possessing everything below.

We know the weight of smaller kingdoms. The expectations we inherit. The approval we mistake for permission. We become custodians of lives that look secure, while something within us keeps measuring the distance between the window and the sky.

Perhaps strength is not always the power to hold a position. Sometimes it is the steadiness required to leave one. A conversation spoken honestly. A future chosen without certainty. The heart lifting, not because fear has vanished, but because fear no longer holds the whole horizon.

Ohreus Gida holds this ascent. Its freedom is not abandonment: the falcon still sees the river that sustained it. Beside the life of a room, this vessel invites a view. What we love need not become our boundary. What protects us may also be what teaches us to unfold.
